An amazing day for November...
Normally when I go out and bring my camera with me, I am only thinking about documenting the events that unfold around me -- sometimes I see things that I might want to use as reference later in a drawing or a painting. This past Sunday I decided to play bicycle glamor photographer to my new mountain bike as I toured around my municipality on what turned out to be one of the most beautiful days of the Fall...

ReplyDeleteCool, you've discovered the "other part" of the Charles River trail! We were amazed to have found it this summer; so neat and foresty, almost magical. That mountain bike should be just right for all those gravel paths.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the off-road trail that goes from the end of the Minuteman Trail in Bedford all the way to Concord?

ReplyDeleteIt was actually as a result of your post that made me aware that that part of the trail was there! I had been as far as Bridge St. in Watertown several times, but had always missed how the trail continued due to the entrance being a bit less than directly across the street.
RE: the path from Bedford to Concord; I have not. Unlike the Minuteman trail extension, though, I was aware of it... I simply have not made the opportunity. I will be making a post soon about my searches near that area, soon, though.
