Painting Class...

ugh... I wasn't feeling it this week... the paint just wasn't working for me. I was impatient and I used too much white and I let the colors mix and I didn't do a decent drawing of the subject and a whole ton of other things...

At this point, I was frustrated and decided to scrape as much paint off of it as possible...

After this I attacked it with a turpentine soaked rag and "erased" as much as is possible with oil paint. So... I was left with a smeared canvas, no work to show for the night (other than the photographs), and an as of yet unrealized artistic vision. 

So I did this: 

 

Sorta works better, don't ya think?
