SMFA, Week 2

So I began my next illustration class last Monday; in addition to that, I had my second class in Dulcimer and Guitar building! Most of this class was centered around shop safety... which I have no problem with, since being kissed by a table-saw some years back.

There was not a lot to do this class except for the "glue-up" of the blocks, as you see below:

Some glue, some wood, some clamps...

...a few brackets.

as you might be able to tell from the picture below, I am considering making this dulcimer assymetrical. I am not sure how it will look, but after seeing a few examples of other assymetrical dulcimers, I think that that is what I am going for.
